FAQ

  • This is first come, first served camping. Please take only the space you need and leave some for your nieghbors!

    • Opens: Thursday, August 21 at 9:00 AM

    • Closes: Sunday, August 24 at 12:00 PM

    Come early for first pick of campsite!

  • Your camping pass is for up to 3 nights (Thursday Night, Friday Night & Saturday Night). You must be out of all campgrounds by noon on Sunday.

    • Expect to drive in to the loading area and walk your camping equipment to your campsite. Once you unload you will be parked as close as possible to the campground depending on what space is available when you arrive. Please note, some vehicles will need to be parked at remote locations that are accessible from a free shuttle, so plan accordingly.

    • When available, there will be wagons available to help haul your belongings to camp.

  • You need one Lawson Hill camping pass per person.

    • After unloading gear, you’ll park in remote lots (free).

      • Depending on when you arrive, these may be adjacent to the campground, or they may be up near the airport. 

    • Shuttle service is available to return to camp — staff will direct you.

    • Everyone must have a camping pass

    • No pets

    • No open fires, including “smokeless” fire pits. Propane pits OK (subject to restrictions)

    • No drones

    • No tent stakes longer than 6” (protects irrigation)

    • Use metal pans under camp stoves (available from Hosts)

    • Leave No Trace – compost, recycle & trash stations are on site

    • No generators – use solar or battery packs

    • Water: Free filtered water is available on site.

    • Ice: Buy from the Conoco gas station (short walk from camp).

    • Showers: No showers at Lawson Hill. Use cash showers at the Red Pool Bathrooms in Town Park.

      • There is a machine at the bathrooms to exchange cash for tokens

      • $1 = 75 seconds of hot water

  • Wood fires are not allowed in any campgrounds for everyone’s safety. This includes smokeless fire pits like Solo Stoves. Propane fire pits are allowed as long as they are entirely under adult supervision and never left unattended.

    • Festival Shuttles (yellow school buses) run approx. every 15 minutes from here AND here.

    • SMART Bus: A free public bus runs between Lawson Hill and Town Park that picks up here.  Make sure you get on the right one!

    • Feeling adventurous? You can walk or bike to Town Park via:

    The River Trail (#1) – scenic and rugged (Bring water, snacks, and a helmet!)

  • Nope! All campgrounds close at noon on Sunday.

  • No, generators are not allowed. Concert camping is very high density, and it is almost impossible to safely use generators without them being too close to your neighbors’ tents. Please be respectful of your fellow campers and leave those generators at home. If you need to use medical devices overnight, we request that you utilize battery packs.

  • No. Only Lawson Hill camping wristbands can enter the campgrounds.
