FAQ

  • Telluride Town Park, 500 E Colorado Ave, Telluride, CO 81435

  • Zone 1 Campground is an open space preserve, surrounded by trees with a waterfall located in the Southeast corner of the Town Park campground. While there are no size limits on camps here, please only take the space you truly need. There is no vehicle camping allowed in Zone 1. Additionally, it has some special rules since it’s a nature preserve, please help us protect it!

    • All Zone 1 camping passes were sold bundled with a 2-Day Event Pass.

    • You may enter the campground and start setting up as long as you have your camping pass confirmation, but please bring your ticket confirmation to the Box Office ASAP to exchange for your 2-Day Event and camping wristbands.

    • The Box Office is located where E. Pacific Ave dead ends at Town Park, near the Post Office. Be sure to grab your wristbands Thursday (if possible) or early Friday to avoid long lines!

    • Box Office hours are:

      • Thursday 8/27: Noon - 8pm

      • Friday 8/28: 11am - 10pm

      • Saturday 8/29: 1pm - 10pm

  • Anywhere in Zone 1. This is first come, first served camping. Please take only the space you need and leave some for your nieghbors!

  • There are two options for loading into Zone 1 Campground on Thursday, August 27th.

    • Arrive before 9:30am and participate in the random lottery (details below).

    • Arrive after Noon and drive straight to the campground.

     Zone 1 Lottery

    • Park your car legally in Town (MAP) (don’t park inside Town Park).

    • Walk to Town Park with only a tarp to claim space.

    • Join the line HERE between 9:00am & 9:30am.

    • Show your Zone 1 ticket confirmation to receive a lottery ticket.

    • Staff will guide you through the randomization process.

    • Claim your space with your tarp and request a temporary vehicle pass from the Camp Host to retrieve your car for unload.

  • Your camping pass covers Thursday - Sunday.

  • There is no car camping in this campground.

    • Expect to drive in to the loading area and walk your camping equipment to your campsite.

    • Once you unload you will be parked as close as possible to the campground depending on what space is available when you arrive.

      • Please note, some vehicles will need to be parked at remote locations that are accessible from a free shuttle, so plan accordingly.

    • When available, there will be wagons available to help haul your belongings to camp.

  • You need one Zone 1 camping pass per person.

  • Staff will show you where to park and how to get back to camp.

    Your car will be parked throughout town (Telluride is small and very walkable - but there’s no guarantee how close or far it will be).

    If you try to park somewhere not directed by staff, you risk an expensive ticket!

  • Zone 1 Preserve Rules:

    • Do not hang or tie anything to trees. Bring self-supporting tents and proper stakes for guy lines. 

    • No renegading at camps or near the waterfall - it causes extra trampling and soil compaction. 

    • Do not touch the tree tubes protecting young aspens.

    • Do not lean bicycles against trees - use the provided bike racks.

    General Camp Rules:

    • All guests must wear a wristband.

    • No pets.

    • No open fires (including “smokeless” pits) — propane pits are OK (check for restrictions).

    • No drones.

    • Respect all marked/taped boundaries.

    • Practice Leave No Trace Compost, recycle, and trash stations are available throughout.

    • Do not leave food out or unattended.

    • No generators — please use solar or battery packs.

    • Restrooms: Flush toilets are available in the Town Park Campground bathhouse. Portable toilets are also available within the campground.

    • Water: Free, filtered water will be available at the Town Park Campground bathhouse.

    • Ice: Available from the Town Park Camp Host (cash only)

    • Showers:

      • Available in the bathhouse in the Town Park Campground.

      • There is a machine on-site to exchange cash for tokens ($1=75 seconds of hot water).

    • Quiet Hours: None enforced, please be respectful of neighbors. Please note that amplified music and renegading is strictly prohibited.

    • Medical & Emergency: Call 911 for emergencies. EMTs and event staff are stationed at the host tent 24/7.

  • Telluride is under a Burn Ban!

    Wood fires are not allowed in any campgrounds for everyone’s safety. This includes smokeless fire pits like Solo Stoves. Propane fire pits are allowed as long as they are entirely under adult supervision and never left unattended.

  • No commute needed — step out of your tent, and you’re at the show!

  • Nope! All campgrounds close at noon on Sunday.

  • No, generators are not allowed. Concert camping is very high density, and it is almost impossible to safely use generators without them being too close to your neighbors’ tents. Please be respectful of your fellow campers and leave those generators at home. If you need to use medical devices overnight, we request that you utilize battery packs.

  • Only Town Park and Zone 1 wristbands can enter the Zone 1 campground.
