FAQ

  • Anywhere in Zone 1. This is first come, first served camping. Please take only the space you need and leave some for your nieghbors!

  • If you want the best camping spot, participate in the lottery. Find out more [HERE].

    • Campground opens: Thursday, August 21 at 9:00a
      ❌ Please do not arrive between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM on Thursday

    • Campground closes: Sunday, August 24 at 12:00p

  • Your camping pass covers Thursday - Sunday.

  • There is no car camping in this campground.

    • Expect to drive in to the loading area and walk your camping equipment to your campsite. Once you unload you will be parked as close as possible to the campground depending on what space is available when you arrive. Please note, some vehicles will need to be parked at remote locations that are accessible from a free shuttle, so plan accordingly.

    • When available, there will be wagons available to help haul your belongings to camp.

  • You need one Zone 1 camping pass per person.

  • Staff will show you where to park and how to get back to camp.

    Your car will be parked throughout town (Telluride is small and very walkable - but there’s no guarantee how close or far it will be)

    If you try to park somewhere not directed by staff, you risk an expensive ticket!

    • All guests must wear a wristband

    • No pets

    • No open fires (including “smokeless” pits) — propane pits are OK (check for restrictions)

    • No drones

    • Nothing tied to trees in Zone 1 — no exceptions

    • Respect all marked/taped boundaries

    • Practice Leave No Trace Compost, recycle, and trash stations are available throughout

    • Do not leave food out or unattended

    • No generators — please use solar or battery packs

    • Water: Free filtered water near the main Town Park bathrooms

    • Ice: Available from the Town Park Camp Host (cash only)

    • Showers: Available in the newly renovated bathhouse in the Town Park Campground

      • Shower tokens sold inside (cash only, no quarters)

      • $1 = 75 seconds of hot water

  • Telluride is under a Burn Ban!!! Wood fires are not allowed in any campgrounds for everyone’s safety. This includes smokeless fire pits like Solo Stoves. Propane fire pits are allowed as long as they are entirely under adult supervision and never left unattended.

  • No commute needed — step out of your tent, and you’re at the show!

  • Nope! All campgrounds close at noon on Sunday.

  • No, generators are not allowed. Concert camping is very high density, and it is almost impossible to safely use generators without them being too close to your neighbors’ tents. Please be respectful of your fellow campers and leave those generators at home. If you need to use medical devices overnight, we request that you utilize battery packs.

  • Only Town Park and Zone 1 wristbands can enter the Zone 1 campground.
